  As promised some weeks ago, here are some scanned photos of a model I put together some years ago. It's the Academy 1/35th Tiger 1E (early version). 11 sprues plus seperate track links, with full interior detail. More photos to follow.

  Very nice Phil. I have never built an Academy model but have been looking at their 32 scale F/A18 recently (link http://www.arrow-wolf.com/product/academy-usmc-fa-18a-vmfa-232-red-devils/ ). A big model, but I have lots of WW2 subject to do before I do that!....

  Hold yer horses Barry! A few more of putting the thing together and then the finished item, by the way, if Academy aircraft are as good as this then you are in for a real treat! more tomorrow!

  And so, the finished item, all straight from the box, Tamiya acrylics, nothing else, a little extra weathering was added but I have no photos on file, the subject matter is Tiger 1E (early model), 1st SS Panzer Division 'Leibstandarte Adolf HItler'
  Berdichev, Russia 1944, SS Haupsturmfuhrer Michael Wittmann.

  That is very impressive Phil. The photography as well as the model.
  
  Your crew figures are spot on. I am hopeless at figure painting and do not include pilot figures in my aircraft (makes it easier to see the cockpit detail).
  
  You are giving me a taste for some armour.... no stop it - got enough on my plate with my WW2 aircraft, - 1 building and 8 in the stash, at least for now.

  Barry, if you ever bite the bullet and do an AFV then you must build Tamiya 1/35th Panzer 4H, straight from the box this is one of the best ever builds you can find!
