OK, yes this sex scandal is a bit of a storm in a teacup. The silly LD 'wimmin' should have just slapped the dirty old man's face in the time honoured manner and be done with it.
But for Clegg to attack the free press for, well, behaving the way the free press does and should do, demonstrates exactly why there should not be statutory press regulation.
We should not be too surprised thought. Self-professed 'liberals' - with a little l that is, are among the biggest hypocrites of all. But then hypocrisy is endemic in the weird world of the political left haunted by these 'liberals'. To attack private schools while sending their children to them, attacking tax avoidance while avoiding tax - it is all par for the course for them. Of course, we all know who the worse employers are, the Trade Unions..... We have seen it all and more.....exposed by our free unregulated press.

Perhaps we will have to endure tales about the antics of the cat next door before we hear anything of the recent squirmish between good and evil in Italy.
What is it about the human race:-
- that they don't take kindly to "having it up 'em"
or
- that they care so little that the above option is the only one?
