21 January 2008Avid readers will remember the little feature we did just before Christmas on 'Tall Paul's' new arrival, little baby Oliver. Well we figured it was time for Baby Oliver to have a a little page to himself and here we are. This was prompted by the arrival of these lovely new pictures fresh in from Tall Paul's mum and ace contributor Jacqui Whatson herself. Now of course a proud grandmum. Its her first grandson and she is thrilled to bits.
Jacqui said "I thought I'd send you a couple of pics of little Oliver - now 4 weeks old. Paul's got the nappy changing down to a fine art and with mum Jen back at uni , now has to do a lot of the baby care when he's not working. He's a really good dad, and that's not just me being the proud mum - everyone says he is! I'm dead proud of him."
So there you have it. Yours truly, one PaulB, has done a bit of nappy changing himself in the past so knows all about the riquors and pitfalls of such an undertaking, but its all worth it in the end, very much so...ermm so Im told!lol
The picture on the left is another new shot just in and lovely it is too. The pictures above and below you will have seen before in our Seasonal Pictures feature now in the Latest Comment section. The picture above shows the proud parents Paul and Jen with lil baby Oliver nestling in their arms.
Copy from the earlier page 'Many thanks Jacqui for sending in the lovely pictures. Proud parents are TallPaul and Jen. Let me tell you a little about our TallPaul. Back in the old Forum days TallPaul was a member, and he used to keep us informed on a regular basis about his hugely successful powerlifting events. He did Dover proud on many occasion, won lots of awards and was often featured in the local newspapers. Not sure if he is still doing the powerlifting but nevertheless he just achieved his biggest award yet with the arrival of lil Oliver. Oliver Robert weighed in at a bonny 8lbs 14ozs, so clearly another powerlifter in the making.'
Thanks to one and all for the pictures and the effort made. We are all looking forward to seeing Oliver's development with more pictures in due course.
