to many moaners not enough appreciation for good contractors working with council

hello just a quick one, I do not understand why certain people do nothing but moan when work is carried out in dover town. The work that is being carried out such as bollard railing and box planter painting is much needed as dover is beginning to look dirty and very unlooked after . And for all those that have a bee in there bonnet over whether the painters that are doing the work are actually a local firm I can safely say that we are a local firm and that we all live in dover and was born in dover and have been doing our jobs for years and have much experience in doing the work that we've been carrying out for the council and we use nothing but the best materials to do the work , We have had some very nice comments about the work we have done but no matter how good we do our jobs there will always be a handful of people which will try and find fault, but you cant please everyone unfortunately .So thanks to everyone who does appreciate our work and with any luck we will carry on working with the council to make dover a much cleaner and fresher place for everyone to enjoy.

We work very hard and to the best of our ability and would like to continue doing so for the council I enjoy working for them and enjoy doing my part to make dover a nicer and cleaner place for everyone to enjoy and be proud of doesn't seem to be a lot of pride for our town anymore be nice to help try and change that .we would welcome any positive feedback to dover town council about the work we have carried out as good feedback and appreciation goes along way in our line of work. thanks for your comment :-)

I totally agree with you other than the fact that you mite not think that painting contributes to making a different's but its a start and everything needs maintaining, if the bits we have done so far wasn't done then they would soon contribute to making the town look more disgusting , but I do think there are much changes that need to be made to make tourist more interested in spending time in our town and making it a better place for us all to live. There are to many shops left derelict and unused dew to the amount of rates they want to charge, people just cant afford to run them. all there seems to be in dover is lots of food restaurants ,takeaways and charity shops. also something that really bothers me is they keep going on about building all these houses and yet everytime we have hot whether we have a hose pipe band why don't somebody scrap the idear of building all these houses and think about building more reservoirs to support the houses and town there is.
