What a glorious Summer`s day again at last, and the best I`ve felt for a couple of week`s. A trip to Deal and back, plus a walk up Langdon Cliff`s to the lighthouse and back. I make no apologies for showing yet more of the colour of plant life on our local cliff top`s. Those orangy one`s weren`t there on my last visit. A multitude of colour up there.

23:3066413 At the top, a rich sea of brown follow`s the rich sea of white flower`s from an earlier picture.

08:3466435Colin - that first picture at top of page, I think is wild Marjoram ? Lovely scent, and I have used the wild kind in cookery. This year I grew some sweet marjoram from a packet of seed, but the scent is not the same, nowhere near as good as the wild ones.

09:2966443What a breath of fresh air, lovely photos Colin.
I just discovered a fox dozing on my front door step in the sun.

15:2266513Lovely photos, Colin. I do a bit of painting and I often wish I was good enough to paint some of the scenes you present us with.

15:3266514Thank you all you lovely ladies above. I just don`t know what else will appear in the coming weeks. Last year there were red hot poker`s, and giant daisies, but I`ve missed them all this year. I often wonder if there was no forum, whether or not I`d be recording them all?
