I am not after votes (unlike some vote-chasing but charming posters here!!) and hesitate to be too political, but the 38 degrees group isn't party poilitical, and I just wanted to share with you some of the options we have. I am a but alarmed that the absolute fury we all felt about MPs expenses and the gaping hole it blew in theri credibility will be forgotten and the smug gits will carry on regardless! So I have posted below a few good reasons to try out the 38 Degrees webaite and sign up!!
38 Degrees is the angle at which an avalanche happens. In the UK, 38 Degrees will enable people to act together, to create an avalanche for change.
More jobs are lost and homes repossessed, but bankers are still giving themselves big bonuses. Let's not forget the lessons of the financial crash. Sign our petition to tell the Chancellor Alistair Darling to rein the bankers in.
The Banks may recently have been bailed out by us, but that hasn't stopped them kicking increasing numbers of families out of their homes. Together we can make the government do more to stop repossessions and keep people in their homes.
What would you do if the main place you worked was closing for 82 days? That's the choice facing our MPs right now, with Parliament shutting until 12th October.
Many MPs say that parliament shutting until October 12th is a chance to get back to their constituencies to listen to us and catch up on important work.
But what is your MP really planning to do whilst parliament is closed down? MPs are supposed to work for us, so we've got a right to know their plans. Get involved and together we can uncover the truth.
If you have had enough of the way politicians and powerful organisations ignore your views on the issues you care about, then get involved with 38 Degrees. If we all act together, at the right moment, with the right message, delivered to the right people, then together we can make change happen.
It's free to sign up. Receive our campaign emails and if you like what we are doing, you can get involved. We believe when enough people get together change happens. Together we can create a better, fairer Britain for all. Please join us and be part of the avalanche for change. It just takes one click.
