Anyone had the 4th jab yet?. Looked on the website and the nearest one appears to be in Canterbury. A friend of mine had it in Folkestone last week.

Thank you Sue and Vic. I will make enquiries about Whitfield hall as I am only ten minutes away on my little scooter.

As I so seldom go out now I am in no rush to get my fourth jab so will probably wait until later.

I am the same Jan, rarely go out these days as I need a new knee and am not very mobile but as the village hall is just around the corner I thought that I would go for it. I have got a small scooter to get to the local shop and post office which is only five minutes away. I get most of my shopping delivered by Tescos or Iceland

Warning!
They are getting ready to stab us oldies yet again, I have just had an email about booking my spring jab.
The drug companies must be rubbing their greedy little hands with the cash that will roll in.

I had my 4th one in November 2022. I'm not exactly old but since then I haven't been entitled to another one. I get the feeling that it's fairly low on the NHS's priorities (except for vulnerable people.
Same with the flu jab. No message this past winter to go in and get one.

Just to clarify this spring jab must be about number 6 or 7.
Unless I am wrong they now seem to want those of us over 75 to have a covid one every six months, more often than the yearly flu jab.

My wife and I had our Spring booster jab yesterday. We have never had any problems with after effects of previous jabs, until this one, which was the Moderna Spikevax XBB 1.5. Aching joints , headaches, difficulty sleeping and feeling cold just to name a few!
The effects have reduced somewhat now for me as I am able to keep active but they have not completely cleared 33 hours after having it! I just hope that it fights Covid with the same ferocity!
Do nothing and nothing happens.
