Yes very good news they are cutting down on MPs the numbers are now 650 they are to be cut to 600 with the reds not coming out of it well ,but also the blues will lose some of their top members.
I think this would be a good time to get rid of town councils and half the parish councils this would make a saving of millions of pounds. We only need just one council and that is the district one the rest do not have any power anyway Scotland do not have one parish or district council,,.
This would save a lot of cash and less voting days,it is all run by the highland council so we only need the K.C.C.

Do we need a MP for Dover, Folkestone, Ashford, Canterbury thats four MPS in about 30miles of each other.Already the district councils are talking to each other to see if they can cut back the numbers of district councils once we see this happing then it will be time to see if the K.CC. taking on more staff could run the whole of Kent.It would not happen overnight but the cut backs could start with the end of town councils and some parish councils.
