    I'm not sure which topic it was where Marek asked the above question.

    I did say I would ask about it and I have; I also asked about the Disney twinning and these are the answers.

    I've done some fishing and it appears the £50K you refer to was a grant awarded to towns that were identified as the worst in the Country. We didn't fit into that category. It wasn't a case of applying and being able to argue our case unfortunately.

    As for twinning with Disney, this appears to be a Disney competition to get kids to nominate their town with a chance to win prizes and a Disney party.
