A Bad day turns into a good one
- 31 October 2009 20:4932129Today my wife and me were helping out at the mill with the cider event on up to 2100hrs today,and we are going back in the morning again on Sunday 1100hrs till 1900hrs.
Dover won aswell.
And to top it all as you know I lost over £100 on Tuesday today it was handed back to me,it was found and reported to the police and tonight I went round to that very honest persons home to pick it up and thank them.So it is very good news that we have some very honest folk out there.
This is not the first time for me some years ago I got my wallet back with all my cards in it +again about £200 in it.

A while ago, Jean lost her very expensive watch (I know it was expensive, as I bought it !) in Dover and we were convinced we'd lost it for good, but I went round to the Police station to ask and it HAD been handed in - Jean was SO pleased (so was I !).

- 17 November 2009 21:3533368I have had a bad day first,I orderd a new T.v TABLE it came today I unpacked put all the parts on the floor and was building it and then I could see it was not the one I had orderd, repacked it and got on to the phone asking them what was going on,they said sorry and that they would pick it up,then I went to my P.C. put on my updated dongole nothing happen got on the phone and ended up in Indiavery nice young lady on the other end two hrs later beween us we got it working great i said thank you put the phone down and was posting the forum and off it went again this time they told me all O,K that end,So I phone my mate up asking him to come round later,in the mean time I went back up to the bedroom to work on the new floor with my wife we are both waiting to go into HOS /for new knees we got down on the floor but could not get back up,so we held on to each other and slowly could up that way

Phone went again it was about my t.v. stand can not pick up till Thrsday,O.K. went back to the floor and the door bell went I came down open the door two workmen there can we have a look in your lofe please we are puting in a H.D. LINE in the street,we went up to the lofe could not get in ,that is where we had put the things out of the bedroom,so I pulled them all out, they said be back to do it in the morning to do the work please do not put the things back in as they will need to get inside,by this time I am geting fed up,just then the phone went again down I go "Sir we can not pick up the t,v. stand till about 1730 on Thursday, but the new one will not be on the same lorry, that will come later on .
Just got back to the floor I have no room to work anyway doing my best, door bell again it was my mate to do the P.C. TOLD HIM THE STORY about it and that I still could not get it to go, he came in and done it in about 20secs he pushed in the reset button
. By this time I was so fed up ,I stoped doing anything,but the good part was my wife got me two tins of beans for my tea I FEEL GREAT AGAIN. - 17 November 2009 22:0833369Oh dear Vic that really sounded like the day from hell. I wish you and your wife all the best - glad you enjoyed your beans!
