Sue I have just been reading about stall holders not able to attend and locals not even attempting to visit the Regatta and all because they can not face the traffic problems.
The French should have increased those justifiably checking the vehicles and the police and Highway Authority should have foreseen the chaos and acted earlier.
The trouble is they never seem to learn from the traffic chaos this town has suffered in the not to distant past, or is it that they just do not care as those in charge are not personally affected.
