  I dont know the section you are talking about Paul but as we all know thats not a safe road. But when they make these chages one assumes they research into the pros and cons of the situation and no doubt would be aware of the possibility of vehicles bouncing back into oncoming traffic...so what the justification for such a barrier is is hard to fathom. But our fate is in these guys hands at The Highways Agency, I guess its them anyway. Maybe they see some good in the idea..somewhere.
