Very good post Harry. Yes this outcome has raised concerns amongst many, but particularly amongst the Energy companies as it gives carte blanche to protesters to do more or less what they like, within reason. However it must be remembered that it was our fellow citizens, fellow proles, 12 men and true, who reached this decision. They sided with the small man rather than the steamrolling conglomerates.
Greenpeace got a similar verdict before as I remember when they destroyed GM crops some years ago. Was very painful to look at them destroying valuable crops but perhaps their motives are pure and thats whats getting them off in the courts. There is little point putting these guys in prison. Our prisons are over full anyway but.. thats another matter.
