You make a fair point there BarryW..however the gullibility of the general populace out there can not be underestimated. This is why leading Labour politicians/ministers have requested that the BBC take the man off Question Time, it not being regarded as the right venue. At this stage I dont want to see him taken off as the horse is already galloping out of the stable... and u-turns generally go down badly with the public.
Baroness Kennedy speaking on the Andrew Marr show last sunday reminded us all that Nick Griffin is a Cambridge educated man and a very persuasive speaker, she also thought Question Time was not the right venue, it being a family type easy access excessively simple- to- digest political show.
At this point I want it to happen now too, having been against it at the start..its become quite a curiosity and will attract a big audience. All tuning in to see how Nick Griffin goes down.
Its on Thursday Night around 10.30pm.
