    It's a very fine line to cross when we allow military leaders a political soap box.It happens in Africa quite often and just look how many Army generals are now dictators of their country.

    By all means all military leaders should have an imput but this could be done 'in camera' at government meetings. It should not be done in The Sun newspaper or on GMTV. It makes me doubt these Generals motives.Self publicising and self promotion ready for their retirement job as a tv pundit or expert or a real concern for their troops.
