Sue, please do not take this personally but if the AGM was run the same as last year, everything is cut and dried before the meeting. That is why I did not bother attending this year as the whole meeting seems to be a technicality.

Im sorry Jan you did not attend .The AGM is much like any other AGM .The Chairman ,etc chosen from the Trustees .You do now have the reports printed which I brought in .In the past you had a job to remember what had been said .There is still room to ask questions re the reports and comments are always welecomed .At least you get a sandwich .At DDC we get nothing and the public donot speak .
Howard keep up Keith has not been a trustee since April .

From what I understand Keith was effectively kicked out, but I could easily be wrong.

sounds to me that possibly susan had a bad hat day and took her anger out on poor keith.

As someone who is a friend to both Sue and Keith and is privy to Keiths thought's with regard to Sue, I can catagorically state that Keith was not pushed out of Age Concern he left of his own free will. Many of us have tried to persuede him to return as he is sorely missed by everyone, he was kind considerate and of enormous benefit to the clients, staff and other volunteers as both a trustee and volunteer. The minutes of the AGM of Age Concern show Sue's very kind thoughts with regard to Keiths wonderful contribution to the organisation of which she was unanimously elected chair.

Sorry Sue for the mistaken information that I received.
Sadly part of the problem with those of us who work in the shop is we have to rely on second hand information. We only ever hear what is happening at Riverside via the gossip machine.
