  Nothing to do with Dover, but I thought I'd just share with you an incredible discovery that may be of interest to the military historians around here. A 1780 British warship has just been found in Lake Ontario and is in incredble shape. Apparently it still belongs to the Admiralty and has been designated a war grave, i.e. hands off.
