Not in the political section this as its not a political point for debate but I was amused by this, found in the Telegraph.
The Tories' by-election campaign HQ in Henley is in a building shared with a group of alternative therapists.
Careful positioning of their placard outside the office has resulted in the following unusual, if wordy, election slogan: "Conservatives. Restoring harmony and balance, enhancing the relationship you have with yourself and the world you live in."

Some years ago (well a lot really), this was seen on a bus in Preston promoting the use of the docks.
"Do not spit on the floor"
"Use Preston Docks"
Any others out there?

there is still a sign on a former laundry in east ham, harking back to the days before washing machines and women normally did the laundry by hand and squeezed out with a mangle.
the sign states" don't kill your wife, let us do it".
the building is now an asian wedding shop, they have never bothered to get someone to go up and get the old sign down, which dates back to the war years.
