  By the way Andy, now that your head honcho at UKIP always make sure you send me those press releases direct with a picture so that I can get good stories like that on the frontpage. Good to see it on the UKIP thread but we have a different set of people viewing the frontpage so helps to get your message out to a wider audience as it were.

  Well, thank you all. We had really lovely, relaxed meal at The Kittiwake with friends and family which I really enjoyed. Difficulties lie in celebrating birthdays midweek due to the ugly spectre of work the next day, so it was a low key affair; in answer to Howard's question, I was 49 this birthday, so the big one is next year! We shall probably hold a forum drinks bash at The White Horse for that one, and we're planning on being a little self indulgent by taking in a trip to the Dutch/German border where my father was stationed during my early formative years. Looking forward to that particular journey down memory lane.
