  Yes I know who runs KCC.I repeatedly complain about local roads and pavements .Lovely to have a high speed train link ,meanwhile elderly people have to watch their step and skirt round barriers etc .Buses get held up and our trunk roads are congested .Both my sons have to travel abroad for their work ,in fact the younger one went to Germany twice last week.
  
  They are always complaing re the roads .
  
  Our local officers do what they can but who holds the purse strings .
  
  On another note I have just spent over thirty minutes talking to a resident re Housing .I explained I no longer covered that role however he knew I would listen .I gather another nameless councillors response was " im not talking to you now as Im on holiday " .Good job there was not a camera on my phone as I sat talking and making notes with just A very large towel covering my modesty .I think a councillor is on duty all the time however Im old fashioned .
