I heard on the news about an hour ago that the pollsters latest prediction is a Conservative win...with a majority of ..wait for it.....2 seats!!!
Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)
What a victory that would be , is that there most optimistic view .

Actually Marek a 2 seat majority is not such a huge problem. Sien Fein do not take up their seats in the house (5 in the last Parliament) and the Unionists will take the Tory whip, together making a reasonably workable majority.

trouble comes when a contentious spending cut is proposed and some back benchers get worried what their constituents will say back in their newly won marginal seat
That's another reason for telling the public what may be about to happen, subject to more accurate information after election. All party's want more folks to get out and vote, but are still playing the game of smoke and mirrors, the very stuff which makes voters stay at home. Will they never learn?
