    I think they were saying that the fare for the High Speed train would be about £5350 per year - quite a tidy sum.

    If you have a good job in London and own a property there, it will be possible to sell your 3/4 bedroomed house (if you can sell it nowadays) and move to Dover and buy a bigger one here and have enough to buy one overseas and have no mortgage - if only.

    £5350 for train-fare would not be a worry then.
