Phew! made it ok...many thanks to the sweet 'ol lady who held the door for me on the way out to the car.
Seemed a lot faster going down with the added danger of no parachute or cycle helmet (I forgot my son took the helmet with him to the adventure trip he's on).
Resting now before I install it on the GROUND floor.
