Getting bored with renovating the bathroom! Looking for a tiler for a couple of days's work, otherwise the job is going to drag on and on. If anyone knows of a good tradesman who is likely to be free in the next week or so, I'd be grateful for a recommendation.

Peter, Give Tony a ring on 07974453740
He does all my plumbing and related jobs and he really is brilliant.
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Thanks Jacqui, I've spoken to Tony but he's booked up for weeks ahead, however he's going to ask a couple of his mates to give me a ring.
Thanks also Carole, I've left a message for Martin. If Ian recommends him he must be good. Having served Ian countless pints of Indian Summer I know how particular he is!

Yes Lesley, a very classy item it is too. Lucky you didn't see me going to the tip on Saturday with the old one!

Didn't know how soon it was to be installed and was a bit worried that you had decided to go 'alfresco' !!

It's in the lounge at the moment! Should finish plumbing the taps and waste tomorrow morning. Tiler Monday-Tuesday, floor coming Wednesday, then I can fit the new lavatory so we can stop the daily jaunt to Tesco first thing in the morning! All brought forward in a bit of a rush as our daughter is coming to stay with the baby the week after next.
Thank you all for your recommendations. Unfortunately everyone I have spoken to is already booked up for weeks ahead. However, using the mybuilder.com website I've found a young lad who can start on Monday morning. He comes with good references so fingers crossed.
