    No mention of 'ability to swim' in job specification so perhaps pier in not too bad a state after all?

    I've been told Deal Pier 'starred' in recent TV programme. Plot involved woman being taken out for meal at end of pier. Wakes up next morning and thinks she might have been poisoned. I asked script writer where they get their ideas from. Trip Advisor apparently.
