    The project has actually been a lotn longer than 11 years. I was on the Council's Land Committee in 1983 when we have a meeting in the area of the DTIZ and agreed a process to start work towards a re-development. There was a tangled web of leases, under leases and so on that all needed to be brought into alignment and also is was decided that the Council should start accumulating land. We said then that it was at least a 20 year project.

    The fact is that it is a complex site bedvilled with a whole lot of issues. Like you I want to see progress fats and I know for a fact that DDC leadership feel the same and are as frustrated as everyone else.
