    I wasn't blaming the Town Council for the closure of the loos, DDC are! I think the Town Council are entirely blameless for that fiasco.

    Thanks. That's my own fear, that the whole project would collapse. Given the delays, I'm not sure whether the collapse of the project wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing (although it would probably cost zillions!) as the project could then be replanned. I quite like Scotchie's idea of relocating the proposed Whitfield shop development there. Seems eminently sensible to me.
