Jensen Button wins the Australian Grand Prix for the Brawn team which is part sponsored by Richard Branson.
Great to see the old Union Flag raised.Cheers the heart in such hard times. At least Britain is good at producing exciting young drivers.

Jensen Button was the hot kid on the block until Lewis Hamilton came along and took away all the attention...but of course Lewis had the best car etc. Sadly Jensen Button got forgotten about to some extent, so good to see him getting a revival in fortunes.

it really seems to be 95% down to the car.
i watched the faces of lewis hamilton and his team after final practice, their faces clearly said that it would be a disastrous season, let alone grand prix.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - McLaren's Lewis Hamilton has been stripped of his third-place finish at the Australian Formula One Grand Prix for giving misleading evidence to race stewards, with Toyota's Jarno Trulli reinstated to third.
The sport's world governing body FIA reopened an investigation Thursday into the circumstances in which Trulli passed Hamilton during a safety car period in Melbourne.
A post-race stewards' hearing in Australia penalized Trulli 25 seconds, dropping him from third to 12th.
Stewards ruled Thursday, after hearing team radio transmissions from the Australian GP, that Hamilton and the McLaren team gave "deliberately misleading" evidence to the Melbourne hearing.
Hamilton, who was originally listed in fourth place at Melbourne was excluded from any points for the race.
