  Age Concern shop are holding their Autumn Fair at Riverside tomorrow morning, opening at 9.30 and closing early afternoon. Plenty of new items for Christmas, raffle, tombola etc as well as refreshments. I hope some of you will be able to visit and enjoy yourselves, as per usual I will be holding the fort at the shop so will not be there.

  best of luck with the event, i will try to get down there before attending the main event at the sea sports centre, where chas will be unveiling his famous scheme.

  Thankyou, I hope you enjoy it. ALL the money raised by the fair and the shop goes to Riverside for the care they give to the elderly.

  Sorry Jan, all that Vera Lynn stuff, I forgot to comment on your event. I did go round Riverside in the morning and had a good walk round, very nice too, and I met my ex-next door neighbour in there, Sid. On the way, I also visited the Town Hall event which I didn`t know about, so all in all, there was alot of things going on Saturday, and the town centre crowds reflected this. P.S. I did see you around 11.00 serving in your shop, but there were half dozen or so in the queue so I carried on.
  Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

  You never know who you will meet when out. Those you enjoy a chat with and those you cross the road to avoid.
  
  We did well on Saturday at the fair taking roughly the same amount as last year, which was good considering all the other events. Yes, I was busy all morning and had to do the afternoon shift as well, my feet were killing me by the time I got home.
