  But, yes, lets be positive - the recession will end, they always do and it has certainly hit bottom. Some industries and businesses are picking up from a very low base while others still struggle. Our economy is somewhat behind other major competitors but their improvement will have a knock on effect lifting the UK economy. The end is in sight but unless some very tough action is taken in curbing both private and public debt any 'lift off' will struggle and it is curbing that debt where some real pain is yet to be felt.
