Possibly it would, AP. It's very technical, no waffle, lots of references to styles, movements and architects, and abundantly illustrated with (b&w) photographs. (There are no 'Oooh, that's nice!' or 'What's that thingy up there?' entries.) It's locally published, so there may be a copy in Smiths to flick through before buying.
(btw I hesitated before putting it on this thread and spoiling the flow; but in the end your close-up of the Castle swayed it, so you're to blame
