08:0767567Hi All,
My kids no longer want their bikes, in fact my son is now much too big for his. Rather than take them straight up to the recycling depot I thought I would see if anyone on here had use of them first. They're not perfect but are in working order and will last a while longer yet. The boys one is yellow, and is suitable for I would say ages 8-12. The girls one is purple/pink and suitable for teenager or adult. They are both by Apollo, bought from Halfords about 5 years ago. Not had a great deal of use but have got a little bit weathered, although kept in the shed.
I don't want anything for them.
I will post photos shortly. If anyone is interested and wants to see them or try them out please email me or reply to this posting. I think my email address is on my profile but if not I'll put it on.
Thanks!

18:1667650Claire...
There is a very good local group called WhiteCliffsFreegle they are a recycling group and everything is free. You do have to join but that is free as is everything to do with the site. the whole idea is to stop things going into landfill. I have received some really useful item for the shop and got rid of things that I was suprised anyone would want. For example the very end of a roll of roofing felt that someone wanted for their rabbit hutch.
The bikes look great and if nobody here wants them they will go straight away in fact I suspect you will be swamped with replies.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

10:0967744What a lovely gesture. Thanks Claire, for going some way to restoring my faith in humanity on a day when it's taken a knock. I have no use of the bikes, but I'm sure someone will be greatly appreciative of your kindness.
True friends stab you in the front.
