  this all reminds me of the late great harold pinter.
  
  he got a bit above himself and wrote a play consisting of one sentence and sent it to his chums on the hampstead and highgate scene.
  
  about a week later he rang one and asked for an appraisal, the reply came back "not had time to read it all yet".
