I heard on the TV this morning that the Marlowe have now got their funding and all is going ahead as planned. The drawings for the new state-of-the-art theatre look fabulous, it would have been a great loss to the community as a whole if the Marlowe Theatre had not got the required funding, so great news there for one and all.
Ben and Saskia are indeed taking part in the the star-studded 'Night of a Thousand Stars' at the Marlowe on Sunday evening, which will be the last show at the Marlowe in its present form. The tickets sold out on the day as there are so many surprise appearances by a variety of famous names. They have been rehearsing all week, I just keep dropping Saskia at the stage door, Good luck to Saskia and Ben
