Talking with his son today i found out he has recently passed away,i think he was 77,used to post quite regularly on here,i knew him quite well,a nice bloke,he had been unwell for the last couple of years.

What a shame, over the years I met him several times out and about, he was a lovely man to talk to.

Sad news indeed. Often had a chat with him in town, usually at the bus stop. Quite a character. Condolences to his family and friends.
