You make it very clear Andrew this is about tradition, which is my very point. Tradition is not a reason to keep something. I have followed a fox hunt and witnessed some rather crass human behaviour...some would say silly, but then that's a matter of opinion.
I have said in everyone of my posts 'I don't like foxes'. I wouldn't even regard myself as a 'chicken do-gooder' as I quite like eating them, some probably from rather poor conditions.
On outlawing, there was a huge public demand, a pretty good reason.
As for those people who lost their jobs, as I have said employ them to kill the foxes. Just to keep it silly they could possbily do it on pogo sticks whilst playing kazoos. (some may find this normal)
