I beleive David Davis is a former SAS soldier so a no nonesense kind of guy. You may remember he was a racing certainty for the Tory leadership one time but young whippersnapper David Cameron wandering the stage, the platform, and speaking in Blairite style with no notes gazumped his bid bigtime and we saw one of the most spectacular political falls in recent times for Davis. He nosedived from a great height into obscurity.
So no matter what came along he would be a disgruntled man out of sorts. However Im sure he speaks for great masses within the Tory Party who are having great difficulty trying to ingest and digest this latest oddball government. These guys Clegg , Cameron et al, didnt have a good week, their inexperience showed and of course it made grand media headlines in this generally quiet summer period. Talk of 'illegal wars' and 'junior partners' ruffled the ol voters.
