Brown bang to rights, caught blatently lying at a press Conference knowing what was being planned.
Politicians dont have exactly a reputation for truthfulness and you can expect some warping of the facts but Brown just takes political lies to another level.
Time for him and his wretched Government to go and be damned - time for a General Election and a clear out of this nestof vipers.

17:0928998Surely Vic you have more to say than that ?
It can't be acceptable (can it ?) for Prime Ministers to just lie.

17:5029001Yes, Dave, two of them did and so they should have done. What we are seeing here from Brown is a different matter, shameless, utterly shameless and repeated and deliberate lies regarding the actions and policies of his Government (and about the Opposition come to that). this kind of thing was a resignation issue before Blair and it should be now.

18:1029005Keep on about the reds but how did they get there in the first place if the blues were that good, and if they get in next time have they got the skills and experience of power to get it any better than the reds who have a man with years of experience and the staying power to not gave up,they and us to not know,so better to stay with the one you know and the one we do not know, best way would be they all work with each other, that way you get the best of both, but we all know that will never happen,So keep Mr Brown that way we know what we got.

07:3129033Just because he's been there a long time doesn't make him good Vic.
Tito and Ghaddafi both did 40 years each, but they weren't good (no I'm not comparing him with them).
Brown has only been good at robbing us, not making good use of our money.
The only people who are better off are those on benefits (and that is not a slight on those needy people who need benefits), most of those working and paying taxes, are much worse off under Brown.

07:4329036Realy Vic - you dont believe in democracy then because that means we have elections and we can chuck out bad Government, however 'experienced'.
Do we really need more of the present Government because of their experience? Look at what we have experienced with them in charge, what a mess they are making of just about everything. So much so, that the PM has to blatently lie. It is now obvious why he mentioned the cut word, he found out about the leak!
