Slight problem...14 car spaces and 20 apartments.. I not to sure about their Maths. Where they going park? I thought all new planning applications are meant to provide enough parking. Also with the new application for the Western Heights there will be an big increase in traffic. That corner is a nightmare.

16 car parking spaces less than planning guidelines and unless things have changed recently all spaces are taken on both sides of the road by commuters who then disappear for the rest of the day.
At least the Godden Family Trust have not added bicycle spaces to their application.

AFAIK, and I've spent a lot of time trying to track them down, the planning 'guidelines' relating to parking spaces are a folk myth which have been passed down from one council to another with nobody actually knowing where they came from or what they are based on. Seriously.
It's like the idiot notices telling you not to use mobile phones at petrol stations. No-one has ever ignited fuel fumes with a mobile phone. Use of you starter motor is much more likely to cause an explosion.

Ok no planning guidelines but 21 appartments and only 16 parking spaces. Do the maths. I am sure you and me can work it out. Not the best place to build appartments. They could build houses with drives but who would stand in the way of a lot of profit on a small piece of land.
