    Had a fascinating exchange of views with the developer in which I asked whether he would follow the dictates of Stagecoach and provide up to 400 Dover Megarider bus tickets. He referred me to the overall travel strategy in his planning application. I have cut away the dross and leave you with this.
    a 50p travel voucher to each resident would cover his promise.




    9.3 The following are to be provided in the development as part of the Travel Plan:
     Secure cycle parking with each residential unit and for visitors
     Charging points for electric vehicles
     Moving-in packs with all available information on access to local facilities and all sustainable transport
     Travel vouchers for all new residents which can be exchanged for cycles or train or bus tickets.
