Just had posted through my letterbox and Goodwin Towers a leaflet that says the Buckland Mill site will see movement soon, yes I know we have heard it all before. But if anyone is intrested there will be a presentation at Buckland House,Buckland Mill opposite the 3 cups,on,
TUESDAY 23RD JUNE 2009 10.00 UNTIL 18.00
and
WEDNESDAY 24TH JUNE 13.00 UNTIL 21.00.
For thoes visiting the area I can recommend a brief stop at the 3 cups for refreshments.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

Yes I know Howard, but this seems more substational and it talks about work starting late summer 2009,with 52 affordable properties 70 privately purches properties,a community hub 80 bed care home, then in stage 2 a large shop with a pharmacy.Once the scheme is complete there will be 400 new homes with 120 affordable, new retail units and a bar and restaurant.
It seems as if the new Whitfield is Buckland Mill, still if it is part of the regeneration I will look forward to 2035,only another 26 years to go, thats only 9000 days approx.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
