I was talking to a friend the other day & we got talking about busker around the towns. do they have to have a liences to perform,or do they just turn up & play.
I know some of them could not hold a note in a bucket,but some are not bad.

I think they can play about 12 times a year without licensing; I doubt if any of them would worry even if they had to (have a licence) for one performance.
It would be good to have more buskers/performers in the Town - from Market Square to the Town Hall, it would certainly make the Town more lively and enjoyable - if they can sing and/or play of course.
That was one of my initiatives as Dover Business Support Manager - sadly not given the time to introduce it - like the rest of them.
