"...to save world's highest mountain. "
The greatest threat to the world's highest mountain, and one that also can be seen through photographic evidence, is the increase to the average hight of mankind over the years...why if things carry on this way Mt. Eve-rest shall become no more than an uncomfortable seat for the weary traveller.

I know, I know it's ridiculous. The bloke's got history in respect to all things mountainous including his mountainous carbon footprint jetting all over the world to take pictures and film large, glorified lumps on the face of the planet. He's probably the cause of more carbon emissions than this whole forum put together but, hey, He's a great guy, he's groovy and like somethings gotta be done -Right?
Chalk him up as another Guardian reader who likes snowy hills.

Little wonder The Telegraph is so well informed Philip, when those who write in it read it first in The Guardian. So your information is always behind the curve...think how much your life is enhanced, lacking the embarrassment of reading stuff first elsewhere.

Tom, if I understood your point I'd have half a chance of a coherent reply but unfortunately because the first part is missing the second is utterly impossible. I'll give it my best shot though -If I understand your point it has to be said that that image is old news now. It was featured in Wired near the beginning of December.so in fact it's the Guardian who is behind the curve surely? Cut and paste journalism at it's finest.with a predictable sprinkling of global warming clap trap.

The old destroy; the young just film them doing it.
(Also why making priests of women is a bad idea.)

Only three clauses are still valid, including one guaranteeing the liberties of the English Church. I think we ought to revisit that. I mean, what next whilst they're out on bail - dynamiting Stonehenge? Painting the Great Pyramid orange?

Well, to be fair, she wouldn't dynamite Stonehenge nor throw paint on the Great Pyramid, because 'multifaith'.
