    At yesterdays Port Consultation I was surprised to learn the plans that Calais has for redeveloping the Port.

    I would recommend looking at their website on the subject. www.debatpublic-calais-port2015.org/informer/dossier-maitre-ouvrage.html

    The new Calais Harbour is planned to be 50% bigger than Dover Harbour and with room for freight and cruise.......

    of course if Dover is to expand then our partners have to do likewise - opens a can of worms tho! Their Public meeting is tomorrow .
