    Both DDC & DHB will be giving evidence to the Commission during the next two weeks. Tonight's meeting is the first of three . Of course the development of Calais has significant effects on Dover as does Boulogne and Dunkirk. Dover is the natural UK Port of entry.We received a deputation from the Commisioners in June & have had regular meetings with the CAC [Calais's equivalent of the District Council] to discuss both Dover and Calais's development, the implications to transport infrastructure, air quality issues & associated matters that may lead to EU funding activity.
