This Saturday looks fine and I have got the use of a long ladder and 10 more flags to put up ( Union , Admirals and italian!) - Croc offered help before but if he isnt available then is anyone else capable of assisting - or anyway? say noon so we can annoy Peter later.....

Sorry, David, but I'm trading at a quilting show on Saturday morning and then hope to catch the last half hour or so of the Blackpool play off final. If it should change, I'll gladly help.
True friends stab you in the front.
Thanks Andy - problem I have is that I may look solid but my feet have problems keeping me upright these days and being at the top of a ladder is a little dodgy - I did the four currently up but need someone to go up - not high! Standing about at functions is another nightmare- oh well can't say I diodnt ask for it.

Providing there is no welding needed doing, I could help by going up the ladder, as long as someone is holding it below and you explain what I have to do!
Great = would like to meet you A.
Put flag poles in brackets and occasionally drill out old broken bits - my weight at the bottom of a 10 ft ladder is usually enough.
Regards

When shall I come by David, is it so that you have an office in Castle Street, or shall I just turn up Saturday? Let me know, as I am everyday in the Castle St. area, so it will be no problem to me. Thanks.

I just might let you up the ladders this year A, there are a certrain two properties you may just get dragged through the first floor window and not come out for at least an hour. David thought I was in Blakes last year until I shook the top of the ladders.

Thank you Ian ,Tom and alex
A dozen flags up and yet still more to go as we got even more orders as soon as the residents saw what we were doing - so we have another date but need more brackets.

Today the Flowers went up but I have still a number of flags to fix.
next weekend I am cycling saturday and taking Linda to the race sunday so if there is anyone available - even mid week,I would welcome some help.
From here on in I am challenged with the task of watering - this year we will try harder and I have had one volunteer to help me with that - once I re-route a tap!
