No but during the evening reception we had pasties. The wedding cake was made out of cheese .With a male and female mouse made out of wood on the top tier
Pasties! Sue how could you? I now feel very hungry indeed. I love pasties, and pretty much live on them when in the West country.

Gypsy Tart Mel,you know a way to a man's heart.don't waste it on Mark get me some.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
Im a pro in the kitchen and whizz up all sorts not just the above fresh chocolate eclairs, old english scones with whipped cream and strawberries, lots of biscuits, puddings, cakes and tons of savoury stuff to. Cant beat homemade food and sweets.

I thought that role was only for the boudoir and one was expected to be a CHEF in the kitchen. No wonder Mark complains of being tired if you are whipping something up for him next to the fridge!.

on the subject of cornish pasties there is an area of mexico that specialises in them albeit with chillis added.
it transpires that when tin mining went downhill in cornwall, many workers emigrated to mexico where the tin mining industry was booming.
as with all immigration, the hosts and the visitors get to sample each others cuisine and the hosts tend to alter things slightly to their own taste.
not a lot of people know that.
