  switched on the box about 20 minutes ago and there was a young woman(didn't catch her name) that had completed her specialist subject and the host was chatting to her
  
  to be frank she did not come across as the sharpest tool in the box, but thought she would probably be well read otherwise she would not have gone on.
  
  the first general knowledge question was "name the french region that gives its name to a world famous sparkling wine?"
  
  after much thought the reply came back "jacobs creek", things didn't improve much after that either.

  That was Stacey , Howard she was an X factor contestant , Winner of IACGMOOH and the current face of Iceland ( frozen foods not country )

  thanks for info sarah, she seemed blissfully unaware that many of the audience at home were rolling on the carpet clutching their sides at her performance.

  Indeed Howard , she does come across as a really nice person who is only too aware of her own short comings , She is one of those rare reality TV persons who just makes me smile . But Im sure that may not be everyones view plus I think I may have given away too much detail about my reality TV watching

  Put's me in mind of the time when this geezer went on answering questions about infamous criminal cases in British history. When asked who was involved in the shooting at the Blind beggar pub in London in the sixties he replied:

  I heard one at Christmas of the young lady going to the bar to buy her work colleagues a drink (office party). She asked for a pint of Guiness and a pint of lager, after being served she asked the barman "which one is the Guiness".
