A date for your diary!
An update on our Annual Charity Ball, which is scheduled to be held on 25th September 2009 at the Ramada Dover in the 'Grand Marquee'.
The profit from this event will be going towards raising money for 'Beyond The Moon'. This wonderful charity that offers children suffering from a life-threatening disease, and their families, the opportunity to spend valuable quality time together and enjoy a memorable, cost-free and carefree vacation in a child-friendly environment far from hospitals and daily treatment.
We need to raise a minimum of £3,500.00 at our Event which will enable us to nominate a local family to receive these wishes. But our aim is to raise £7000.00, which would enable us to nominate Two local families.
You can help us to make a difference to these families by:
· Purchasing a ticket to the Event at £35.00 per person or £300.00 for a table of 10 people
· Writing a cheque payable to 'Ramada Dover' and sending it to us (Please write Beyond The Moon on the reverse of your cheque)
· Donating a Raffle Prize or an item that can be auctioned on the evening
· Nominating a local family that qualifies for this wish!!
Ticket Price Includes:
· A champagne Reception and canapes with music by Riverside swing followed by a Five Course Dinner
· Bollywood Dance Show by The Dancing Nikita Company
· Comedy Act by Jim Darch
· Live performance by swinging 60's
· Disco until Midnight by Tartan Billy
If you would like to stay overnight we have a special rate of £55.00 Bed and Breakfast based on two people sharing.
We will of course be contacting the local press and hope to get as much publicity as possible for the Charity and our supporters.
