The Arts Centre on the first floor of the Charlton Centre has just undergone a revamp with the efforts of some dedicated volunteers from the White Cliffs Creatives Guild, and has just reopened to the public with an open exhibition of regular contributors and promises of lots more to come.
As well as the exhibition there is a shop selling art and crafts by members, not just paintings but cards, jewellery, handbags, stained glass, sculpture etc, all at affordable prices (you might even spot my name on a few prints.)
The one thing it does need is visitors - even if you have no intention of buying please go along and have a browse, look at the local talent on display, have a chat, have a coffee downstairs and tell everyone about it, it's a little out of the way up the back stairs but well worth a visit.
